New Delhi:

Remember the handsome actor from 'Pyar Ka Punchnama' series - Kartik Aaryan? Well, the actor who has impressed the audience with his cute looks and perfect comic timing, is all set to entertain the audience with his upcoming family drama 'Guest Iin London'.

Also starring Kriti Kharbanda, veteran actor Paresh Rawal and Tanvi Azmi in key roles, the movie revolves around the life of a couple who has to deal with unwanted guests at their home.

While Kartik is known for comic timing, it is Kriti's first attempt at the genre. She was last seen in Bhatt camp's horror flick 'Raaz Reboot' opposite Emraan Hashmi.

In fact, it is the first time the two young actors have shared the screen space and their perfect chemistry is winning them brownie points.

During a recent interview with News Nation, Kartik and Kriti got candid about their experience of working together and future projects.

Here are the experts of the interview:

You guys are coming together for the first time for 'Guest Iin London', how has been the overall experience?

Kriti - Kartik got so irritated with me, that he has gone back to Nushrat after just one movie (jokes)

Kartik - It has been an amazing journey of 'Guest Iin London' in which we have worked together. We share a great chemistry both off and on screen. And I love the fact that we have worked together    in such a good movie. I don't how will it fare at the box office, but the movie has a good content and people will like it. I am very with happy with Kriti, myself and with every around I have worked with in this movie for creating such a positive working environment.

You are also working with senior actors like Paresh Rawal, Tanvi Azmi in 'Guest Iin London'. Was there any kind of pressure or intimidation while shooting the movie?

Kriti - Intimidation was there. When you are meeting someone you have seen since childhood, like when you meet your heroes, you bound to get nervous. I met both Paresh Sir and Tanvi Ma'am for the first time during the reading of the movie which just two days before the shooting began. But right from the first day both of them put themselves across in such a way so that we can be comfortable. So there was intimidation, but it was relieved very soon and the credit goes to them.

Kartik - When I first met Tanvi Ma'am, we had a great interaction as I teased her for 'Bajirao Mastani'. In fact, when I was going to meet her, I asked someone if I am suppose to touch her feet or hug her and that person ended up telling her everything. Since then we share the same relation. With Paresh ji, we created a forever kind of bond and I have got a life-long friend through this movie and that is him. I am really happy that 'Guest Iin London' happened.

Kriti, your last movie 'Raaz Reboot' was a horror flick and this is a comedy drama, what was more difficult?

Doing both was very difficult. One was physically very difficult and the other one was mentally challenging. When a horro movie goes wrong, it becomes a laughing stock and when the comedy movie goes wrong, it becomes horrifying. But each movie was difficult at their respective points. 'Raaz Reboot' was physically more strenuous because it had many things that were not organic like twisting the body in a particular way. That was a very difficult experience and I used to become breathless. While it was more difficult to control my laughter while shooting for 'Guest Iin London', so mentally I had to have control on it. I even goofed up during one of Kartik's shot during the second day of shooting as I ended up laughing because I was not used to it. But after that I think I kind of got a hold of it.

Kartik, so far we have seen you in comedy roles and even a lover boy in 'Akaash Vani', are you planning to try your hand in some intense roles?

I did an intense role in 'Akaash Vani'. People did love the intense role but they didn't turn up in the theatres. But when I did comedy movie, everyone came in. So thereafter, I have been getting the scripts of comedy movies. I am not getting romantic, serious movies but have been approached for several light-hearted movies. So it is a nice zone as well. Secondly, it just a coincidence that I am liking such scripts. It's not that I intend to sign comedy movies only nor do I have a sterotype kind of image in my mind. But I am proud of this image if people are loving me in these roles. So, I'll do intense, romatic or hero kind of roles if approached for it.

Helmed by Ashwni Dhir, 'Guest Iin London' hits the screens on July 7.
