Opening with Rs 18.70 crore at the box office, the Zoya Akhtar directorial Gully Boy, has in just over a day’s time collected Rs 32.50 Crore. The Ranveer Singh-Alia Bhatt starrer which was released on Valentine’s Day is expected to witness an upward trend over the weekend. The success at the box office will be the second highest opening for Ranveer after Simmba while for Alia Bhatt, it will be the highest ever.
