Gulshan Kumar biopic: Akshay Kumar had THESE conditions to do 'Mogul'

New Delhi:

Akshay Kumar, who recently announced his next project 'Mogul', had two major conditions for signing, which included his fees and the director.

'Mogul' happens to be a biopic on the life of music tycoon Gulshan Kumar, wherein Akshay will be seen playing the titular role.

While the announcement created a buzz in the tinselvile, it is being reported that Akshay demanded a whopping amount for the movie.

Besides, the 'Rustom' star also put forward the condition that he would do the movie if only it would be directed by Subhash Kapoor.

"When the producer asked Akshay if he would act in and as Mogul, the actor agreed. But he had two conditions — one that he would be paid a whopper of an acting fee and that Subhash would direct it. The producer agreed and Mogul got started," a source reportedly told a leading daily.

Looks like the 'Mogul' makers are in a mood to cash-in the duo's success now.

'Mogul' is being produced by Gulshan Kumar's wife Sudesh Kumari. The movie is said to hit the floors by the end of 2017.

Currently, Akshay Kumar is busy with two of his upcoming movies - 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' opposite Bhumi Pednekar and '2.0' with megastar Rajinikanth.
