Ruling the Bollywood for almost two decades, Rani Mukherjee changed the way we look at women in the industry now days.
From playing a pretty and sophisticated role in Karan Johar's ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ to a badass, strong headed inspector in ‘Mardaani’, Rani Mukherjee has been successful in proving her mettle over the years.
Though her Bollywood graph has witnessed many ups and downs, but her caliber as an actor is something that has never been questioned.
Initially she struggled in the marking a place for herself in the industry with movies like 'Raja Ki Aaegi Baraat' and 'Mehendi' which failed to do well at the box office. For the next few years, Rani gained her footing in the industry with typical Bollywood masalas with actors like Salman Khan and Govinda, only to click a successful film at the big screen with 'Saathiya'.
After that there was no looking back for Rani, she raised the bar for the audience with her brilliant performances in movies like ‘Bunty aur Babli’, ‘Hum Tum’, ‘Veer Zara’ and ‘Black’.

A wave of setback hit her when she was seen in movies like ‘Ta Ra Rum Pum’, ‘Laaga Chunari Mein Daag’, ‘Saawariya’, ‘Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic’ and ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’, that failed to create magic on the big screen.
However, this rough patch was not meant to last long as Rani was back in form and stunned everyone with her role in the 2011 film, ‘No One Killed Jessica’.
We saw Rani at her best in her last flick ‘Mardaani’, after which she decided to become the first lady of YRF and settled down with Aditya Chopra.

Entering a new phase of life, Rani Mukherjee is currently enjoying the bliss of being a mother. But we will soon see her making a comeback with 'Hichki'.
