Bollywood’s beauty with voice, Sunidhi Chauhan, is the lady behind many hit numbers of Bollywood.
She has gain fame from evergreen hits like Yeh Mera Dil(Don 2006), Mahol (Fiza), Ankhiyan na maar (Ek Khiladi Ek Hasina),Race Sanson ki (Race),Chhaliya (Tashan).
The beautiful singer has also given voice to many songs in different languages including Assamese, English, Bengali, Telugu, Oriya to name a few.
She began her singing career at a tender age of four. After completing her academic qualifications in Delhi she shifted to Mumbai, where, a TV host spotted her talent and expressed to her parents after which she participated in many competitions and shows.
She finally found recognition after winning the ‘Lata Mangeshkar Trophy’ when she participated in a music show “Meri Aawaz Suno”.
After that she never had to look back.
Sunidhi’s first break in a Hindi film was in the film Shastra followed by Gang, Veergati, Dahek, Bade Dilwala, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat, Shyam Benegal’s Samar and Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Mission Kashmir.
But she found fame with Ruki Ruki Thi Zindagi.
Later, she married music video director Bobby Khan in 2012 against the wishes of her parents, but divorced him a year later and reconciled with her parents.
On 24 April 2012, she again tied the knot with childhood friend and music composer Hitesh Sonik at a low profile wedding ceremony in Mumbai.
Currently she is judging ‘The Voice’ with other singers including Himesh Reshammiya, Mika and Shaan.
One of the most versatile singers of Bollywood turned 32 today.
