The wait for the third installment of the bolkbuster comic movie series Hera Pheri is on for some time now. Movie buffs can now rejoice because the terrific trio from the film, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty and will potray their real age in the film.
A source close to the development revealed to Pune Mirror that the story in the film will take a time leap and the chacracters will potray their actual age, not what they were when the 2nd installment commencedwhich is incidentally a significant factor in the script.
Earlier, it was Total Dhamaal filmmaker Indra Kumar, who was set direct the movie. Infact, Indra Kumar has on several occasions had revealed that he was working on the script with the team. However, now producer Firoz Nadiadwala has brought back Priyadarshan to helm the upcoming project.
The story of Hera Pheri 3 according to the scource takes off from where it ended, takes a leap and shows the chacters placed agaist adversities in the current times. The laugter riot is desperate as always but the scenario is completely differenr
Meanwhile, Priyadarshan too had earlier revealed that he is currently busy with a different project and will take up Hera Pheri 3 only once the current project is concluded.
The report also reveals that late filmmaker Neeraj Vora had also penned the basic premise for the film. Now, Priyadarshan and his team will develop it into a screenplay. The source also added that all three Bollywood stars are excited to reunite for Hera Pheri 3, but they don’t just want to milk the brand, instead are waiting for a compelling narration.
Akshay Kumar basking with the sucess of Kesari is now all set to release Good News with Kareena Kapoor on September 6, then he also has the multi-starrer Housefull 4 releasing in Diwali this year. Add to that, Akshay Kumar will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s next titled Sooryavanshi. So, it’ll be a while before Akshay Kumar can make time for Hera Pheri 3.
