Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all set to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. The two tied the knot in November 2018, in a secret dual-ceremony in Italy’s Lake Como and hosted grand receptions upon their return to India. Now, if reports are to be believed, the star couple is planning to celebrate their special day by visiting Tirupati temple and Golden Temple in Amritsar.
Just like their wedding ceremonies, their anniversary celebrations will also be a private affair. The two will be leaving Mumbai on November 13, and will visit Tirupati on November 14. They will visit the Golden Temple along with their families on November 15. The star couple is expected to return to Mumbai on the same day.
They were recently spotted having a gala time at their friend's wedding in Bengaluru. The Chhapaak actress, however, fell ill after attending the wedding. She took to Instagram to inform her followers about her health. Sharing a picture of sick herself, she wrote, "When you have too much fun at your best friend's wedding."
On the work front, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are reuniting for the first time onscreen after their wedding with Kabir Khan’s upcoming sports drama, 83. The actress is playing Kapil Dev's wife Romi Bhatia in the film, which sees Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev. Deepika will also be next seen in Chhapaak, slated for a release on January 10, 2020. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agrawal, played by Deepika. The film also stars Vikrant Massey in an important role.
