Legendary singer Sonu Nigam, who lended his mellifluous voice to thousands of Bollywood’s blockbuster songs shared two pictures on Instagram where he was seen with a swollen eye.
According to reports, Sonu was eating when the incident took place. Sonu’s rash was reportedly so acute that anti-allergens would have been of no help. Hence, he thought it was best to go to a hospital. The report added that after keeping him in the intensive care unit, he was discharged after a two-day stay at the hospital. He is reportedly fine now and is heading to Odisha for a musical concert in the state.
“Thanks for your concern and love. Now that you know that I am returning back from Jeypore Orissa after managing a concert last night, I now don't mind sharing how I was the day before yesterday. Lesson for all of us, Never ever ever ever take a chance with allergies. Sea food in my case. If Nanavati Hospital wasn't near by, my trachea would have swollen up further and lead to asphyxiation. Happy and Healthy life to everyone,†he wrote.
According the reports, “Sonu is much better now. He will be in time for the Odisha concert. There was a concern when he was admitted, but all’s well that ends well.â€
