Akshay Kumar's Housefull 4 is doing wonders at the box office. The film has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in just five days of its release. The Farhad Samji-directed film opened on October 25 to mixed reviews. As per the latest report on the Boxofficeindia.com, on Tuesday, the film has managed to rake in an estimated total of Rs 24 crore on its fifth day at the box office. The film has collected around Rs 58 crore in the last two days, taking the total collections to Rs 109 crore.
Housefull 4 clashed with Rajkummar Rao's Made In China and Taapsee Pannu's Saand Ki Aankh. While Saand Ki Aankh has raked in Rs 6.66 crore in five days Made In China has minted Rs 6.75 crore so far.
Meanwhile, Akshay posted a note thanking audience for showering their love on the film. He wrote on Instagram: “Thank you for loving us and laughing with us. It is because of your love we are where we are today. Thanks to all my fans and audiences who have poured unconditional love on #HouseFull4. Thank you for showing us that nothing beats hate more than love.”
Directed by Farhad Samji, the film also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde and Chunkey Pandey in prominent roles. Housefull 4 released in around 3,500 screens, as compared to Made In China and Saand Ki Aankh, which had around 1,500 and 1,000 screens respectively, according to a hindustantimes.com report.
