The shoot Housefull 4 is underway and like its earlier instalment, the movie promises to be a complete riot.
The fourth instalment is set to release later this year and once again stars Akshay Kumar in the lead, with Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda, Pooja Hegde, Riteish Deshmukh, Chunky Panday, Boman Irani, among others.
A recent report in Mid-Day claims that in the first half of the film, Akshay who has been a permanent face in Housefull movies will be seen playing a 16th century king. Incidentally, the first half of the film will be set in the 16th century, in which, Akki’s character is the king. In fact, the report also revealed that Chunky Panday’s character Akri Pasta during that time period will be the nephew of Vasco Da Gama.
The picture of one of his looks, where he is flaunting a bald mane, went viral last year. Bobby, on the other hand, will be seen sporting long hair in this part of the film.
It seems that portions of the film are shot in Rajasthan, the state of palaces which are the bit about the past lives of these characters, including Bobby Deol. While, the report claims that in the second half, the film will move to the present day and will show the characters living in London.
Sajid Khan, who has directed all three films in the franchise, was also directing the upcoming movie but was replaced by Farhad Samji after allegations of sexual harassment against him surfaced last year. Nana Patekar was replaced by Rana Daggubati following similar allegations.
