Bollywood popular sound technician known for his work in films like Marjavaaan, Housefull 4, Race 3, passed away on November 25 at an young age. The technician was just 29 years old and was suffering from high blood pressure.
Hours of laborious work at the studio took a toll n his health and blood pressure resulted in brain haemorrhage. The news of Pilankar's death was confirmed by actor and filmmaker Vipin Sharma, who was seen in movies like Taare Zameena Pe, who tweeted about the same.
The actor addressing the hapless work conditions of technicians who according to him do not get adequate monetary compensation.
“Many techs work over time n rarely get paid for that. Its terrible. Afraid to loose work they stay quiet n keep working. Many times they may not get fully paid as well while they already accept to work for less money in the first place. Rest in Peace Nimish Pilankar.”

Apart from Akshay, director Khalid Mohammad and actress Rakul Preet Singh also tweeted about the sad demise of Pilankar and wrote about how there's not much attention given to technicians and their working conditions.
Nimish first worked on a big project which was Salman Khan’s 2018 film Race 3. He also worked on other popular films such as Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, and Jalebi.
