A case of cheating has been filed against Hrithik Roshan and three others by the Hyderabad Police. The complaint has ben filed by a gym goer of Cult.Fit of which the actor is the brand ambassador.
According to the complainant, the fitness centre enrolled more people than it could accommodate. The complainant found that enrollers failed to get the slots as promised at the time of registration. He alleged that when he protested he was barred from using their app to book the slots.
KPHB Colony police station under Cyberabad police commissionerate on Wednesday booked the case on charges of cheating and criminal breach of trust. According to Inspector K. Laxmi Narayana, a person who had registered himself as a user of Cult fitness centre in KPHB 3rd Phase lodged the complaint that the company failed to keep its promise of daily work out sessions.
Shahsikanth, who lodged the complaint with the police last month, alleged that the gym was offering weight loss packages for Rs 17,490 to Rs 36,400 for one year and he had paid a fee of Rs 17,490 in December last year. Shashikanth availed the discount offered at the time of the centre's launch.
Police officer said they were investigating the case.
Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 is all set to open a theatres on July 12. Based on the mathematician Anand Kumar’s life, who co-founded the Super 30 program in 2002 in Patna, where 30 talented candidates are selected each year from economically underprivileged sections of the society and prepares them for the IIT entrance exams, the biopic drama is directed by Vikas Bahl and also stars Mrunal Thakur, Virendra Saxena, Pankaj Tripathi and Johnny Lever.
