The wave of #MeToo movement is bringing new twists in the Bollywood industry and exposing the dark side of the glamour world. While on one hand, there are celebrities who are standing with the movement, there are some on the other, who have voiced their opinion saying it is yet another publicity gimmick. Hrithik Roshan’s ex-wife Sussanne Khan recently spoke on this raging issue and commented that people are misusing the effects of #MeToo movement with a lot of false allegations.

Sussanne, while interacting with the media when she attended her sister Farah Khan Ali’s new collection launch at her designer store, stated that she senses a lot of pretense in the ongoing #MeToo movement. She expressed her disbelief with people who according to her are misusing the social media platform as a publicity stunt.
She said that victims must come up with legal shreds of evidence before making any such allegations. “They shouldn’t make allegation on an individual without any legal evidence,” she added.

However, Sussanne’s former husband Hrithik Roshan has forwarded his support to the #MeToo movement. After Bollywood’s Queen Kangana Ranaut spoke out against sexual harassment at the hands of Queen director Vikas Bahl of harassing her on the sets of Queen in 2014, Hrithik joined the bandwagon of her supporters. Hrithik was currently shooting for his upcoming flick Super 30 directed by Vikas Bahl, allegedly stepped down from the project after reports of the director's involvement in sexual harassment surfaced.
