He is considered a perfectionist when it comes to films but superstar Aamir Khan says he does not have any fear of being judged on fashion, as it is something which people don’t associate him with.
The “Dhoom 3” star said he doesn’t have a great fashion sense and in fact, also feels shy walking the ramp.
When asked if he is scared of fashion police, Aamir told reporters, “I anyway wear bad clothes, and I am habitual of that. People don’t think any great about my fashion (sense) so I have no fear of that.
“I have walked on the ramp only once for Salman’s ‘Being Human’. Usually, I feel very shy when I walk the ramp and people are watching me. I get very shy,” he said.
The 51-year-old actor attended the Van Heusen GQ Fashion Nights last evening. He praised Rajesh Pratap Singh’s collection and said he attended the show just for the designer as he likes his work a lot.
Present with him on the occasion were his “Dangal” co-stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Saniya Malhotra, both of whom are also doing an internship at his production house.
Aamir said the idea to have youngsters intern with him and follow his work, meetings, interviews, is to make them learn how Bollywood works and prepare them for the future.
“I realised this few years ago, that whatever I’ve learnt over these years, the experiences I have gained, I wanted to share that with someone,” he said.
“Every person has their own perspective. The intern learns from you, and also feels some things that you are doing are wrong. It’s a learning experience,” he pointed out.
Aamir also revealed that one of his first interns was his manager Advait Chandan, who is now making a film “Secret Superstar”.
“My first intern was Advait, who was my manager and is now making a film. He learnt filmmaking under me and is now making his movie,” said the superstar, who will have a special appearance in the film.
