Twinkle Khanna is the author of best-sellers books and the actress undoubtedly has a cracking sense of humour, so much soo that she never deters to make a joke even on herself.

The actress once went on record to call herself a "terrible actress", and recently sharing an old review of Baadshah she brings to light how she was assessed for a film on the basis of her naval show and not for her acting chops in Shah Rukh Khan starrer super hit film.

As Baadshah completes 20 years, an Instagram account shared stills from the film, which also starred Shah Rukh Khan, along with an excerpt from a review published in 1999. It read, "Shahrukh has performed well, so have Twinkle and her navel, which was in full view right through the film. (sic)"

Twinkle loved that part of the review so much that she shared the post on her own Instagram account, giving herself a pat on the back for her "emotive body part". She wrote, "Did I say I never got good reviews? I apparently did with the support of an emotive body part! Have to say that 20 years on and the Baadshah couple still have it - SRK still has his dimples and I still have that fine navel:) Thank you for sending this and brightening up my morning, Manish Malhotra. #navelgrazing"

Earlier, on Koffee With Karan, Twinkle opened up about her acting career. "I was a terrible actress. People who have seen Mela remember it, despite it being a flop, only because of my acting. I have done something which nobody has ever seen. *imitates herself* 'Rupa, aankhein dekho, Rupa...' That kind of stuff," she said.

Analysing her performances, she said, "I was just not good at what I did. I was terrible. And I didn't want to be there, I didn't have the aptitude for it. Those days, all I wanted to do has come home, and that's all I did."

Directed by Abbas-Mustan, Baadshah starred Shah Rukh as a private detective getting involved in a conspiracy. The film also featured Johnny Lever as his close aid, Raakhee as a Chief Minister and Amrish Puri as an antagonist. Twinkle Khanna starred as a spy trying to nab a conspiracy revolving around the murder of a CM.  Baadshah earned a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Performance in a Comic Role and Best Villain category.
