Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma and Indian skipper Virat Kohli are among the most talked about couples in India. Both of them have been pretty successful in their fields and at occasions, can be seen complementing each other. Coming together of Virat and Anushka not only gave the term ‘Virushka’ while has also put billions of cinema and cricket fans together. In an interview with Graham Bensinger's show ‘In Depth With Graham Bensinger’, Virat revealed that his first meeting with his lady love was on the sets of a shampoo commercial in 2013.
Speaking about his first meeting with Anushka, he said, “The first time I met her I cracked a joke immediately with her. I was very nervous and that’s why I cracked a joke because I didn’t know what to do. And I was standing on sets and was being all nervous and jittery. And then she came in and I was like and I just cracked a joke in front of her.”
“I thought I was being funny, and I said something which wasn’t probably the right thing to say. She is tall as well and she was wearing heels and she was being told that I am not that tall, I am not 6 feet plus or something like that. she walked in with (this much) height of heels and was looking taller than me and I was like ‘didn’t you get a higher pair of heels’. Then she was like ‘excuse me’ and then I was like ‘no, I am just joking’. My joke actually became such a weird moment for myself. I was such a fool, to be honest. She was so confident, she is on sets regularly”, the Indian skipper adds.
Virat tied nuptial bond with Anushka on December 11, 2017 in Borgo Finocchieto in Italy and the couple spent its honeymoon in Finland.
