Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-hyped project, Inshallah has been stalled for the time being. While grapevine is abuzz that creative differences between the actor and the director might have been the reason for the break-up and the project getting shelved, fresh reports suggest that the estimated budget for the movie was the main bone of contention.
Bhansali Productions has decided to not go ahead with In-shaa-Allah for now... Further announcement will be out soon... God willingðŸ™ÂÂÂÂðŸÂ»@prerna982

According to a report by ETimes, differences were more from the business point of view then about its script or how the film will be panned out.
A source close to the project revealed to ETimes, “The truth of the matter is that Bhansali's cost of production of the film without Salman's fee touched Rs 160 crore and his remuneration was decided by him as Rs 50 crore along with 40 per cent profits". The source further revealed that Bhansali was not finding investors as satellite and digital rights of Salman's film are sold and recovering Rs 210 crore only though theatrical rights in India and overseas didn't appear to be a profitable deal for them.
The source also informed that Salman was not easy with the idea that a simple love story of a Muslim boy and a Hindu girl without any periodic extravaganza could amount to such a high budget. But Sanjay being the father of larger than life pictures with dramatic sets was in no mood to curb the budget. He didn't even want Salman to take over the production reins for the film.
Speaking about his fallout with the filmmaker, Salman earlier told Mumbai Mirror that nothing has changed between him and Bhansali. They will continue to do films together if not now in the near future.
Earlier it was learnt that Salman Khan was not ready with the post-interval sequences. Meanwhile, Salman via tweet informed his fans that no matter what, he will come to theatres for the Eid 2020 even when In-shaa-Allah has been shelved without revealing much about which film.
Itna mat sochna mere baare mein, Dil mein aata hoon.. aur Eid pe bhi 😉
