Sanjay Leela Bhansali recently announced his forthcoming film with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt titled Inshallah. The much-awaited film was about to kickstart by the end of this month and was set to hit the screens during Eid 2020. However, the release date of Inshallah has been pushed to a later date and it has been confirmed by none other than Salman.
The actor took to his Twitter account and wrote, ''The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!!"

Meanwhile, Inshallah will bring Salman and Sanjay together after 20 years. Their last outing was Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. While Alia will reportedly play an aspiring actor, Salman will reportedly be seen as a businessman in his 40s. As per reports, Salman’s character will romance a girl 20 years younger to him.

''Salman is a businessman in his mid-40s. The character is reminiscent of his turn in his 1997 romcom Jab Pyar Kisise Hota Hai. Alia plays a 20-something aspiring actress. All the factors, including age gap, have been taken into consideration. The story will justify the teaming up of two actors, from different generations, on a romantic journey,'' a Mumbai Mirror report had earlier quoted a source as saying.
Earlier during an interaction with an entertainment portal, when Alia was asked about Inshallah, she stated, "I literally remember myself jumping. I was not in town, I was out of the country and I was doing something and I got a call and I was like.. literally I ran to the corner and I jumped up and down for five minutes because I was so excited."
The film, a love story, is co-produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions and Salman Khan Films.
