New Delhi:

As the world is busy celebrating International Women’s day today, Kriti Sanon has chosen to celebrate it in another way.

The Bollywood actress came up with an important message on this special day that has once again highlighted the plight of women in Indian society.

Kriti took it to Instagram and shared a video wherein she is seen holding a set of placards boasting a message how the streets are still unsafe for women and how the society just keep on talking about women's safety instead of taking any initiatives.

"We will hear a lot of words today. Girl power, women's rights," read her message. "Blah. Blah. Blah. Meanwhile, our streets remain unsafe," said Kriti in the video.

Given the current situation on women in the society and rise in crime against women, one couldn't agree more with the young actress.

On the work front, Kriti Sanon, who was last seen in Shah Rukh Khan's 'Dilwale', will be next seen in Dinesh Vijan's upcoming directorial 'Raabta' opposite Sushant Singh Rajput.

The movie is expected to release on June 9 this year.
