Irrfan Khan comes back to Mumbai; is he recovering fast?

Irrfan Khan who is undergoing treatment for a neuroendocrine tumour in London was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport. This brings in an air of relief for his fans that he is recovering fast. The actor however chose to hide his face as he was clicked by the shutterbugs. He was dressed in a white shirt and camouflage pants teamed up with a light pink jacket and a hat.

The pictures were shared by Viral Bhayani, on his Instagram page where he mentioned that he clicked him from behind as he didn't wish to be clicked. He also shared an old picture of the actor that has him posing with Shah Rukh Khan in the same outfit.

 Irrfan was last seen in 2018’s critically-acclaimed road film Karwaan and Blackmail. Rumours are abuzz that he will start shooting Hindi Medium 2, the sequel to his 2017 film Hindi Medium. Dinesh Vijan, the producer of the film, had earlier confirmed that the script of the film was ready and that he would take it on floors after the release of Luka Chuppi. However, there were also speculations that SRK will replace Irrfan for the second part of the movie.

 Irrfan was supposed to play the leading role in Shoojit Sircar’s Udham Singh, a film based on the life story of the Indian freedom fighter. However, now reports suggest that Vicky Kaushal has replaced the actor.
