The launch of Daboo Ratnani's calendar for 2020 took place recently and it was a starry affair with the who’s who of Bollywood gracing the occasion. The launch saw celebs like Vicky Kaushal, Ananya Panday, Aishwarya Rai, Vidya Balan and Bhumi Pednekar posing for the calendar. But among all the other celebrities, it was Kiara Advani’s photo that stole the limelight and went viral in no time. The picture even sparked off a meme fest on Twitter.

Now, the picture is again in the news after a social media user pointed out a striking similarity to a similar photoshoot done by International photographer Marie Barsch. The user then claimed that Dabboo Ratnani has plagiarised Kiara Advani's photo for his calendar.

Marie also shared the same post on her Instagram story and expressed her dissapointment. She also wrote a caption that read 'I just leave that here'. Marie also shared a few snaps of messages she had received from fans mocking her creation against that of Dabboo Ratnani's.

For those who are not aware, in the calendar shoot, Kiara can be seen hiding her body parts behind a large leaf. As soon as the photo was share on internet, it went viral. On the work front, Kiara will next be seen in 'Shershaah' where she will be seen sharing screen space with beau Sidharth Malhotra for the first time. She will also be seen in 'Laxmmi Bomb' co-starring Akshay Kumar.

The actress is also part of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' along with Kartik Aaryan and Tabu.

Talking about the film, Kiara said in a statement, ''Bhool Bhulaiyaa was the first ever horror film that I watched. Being a huge fan of the first one, It’s super exciting to get the opportunity to be a part of the franchise. It’s my first time being directed by Anees sir and I’m looking forward to the experience. It’s being produced by the makers of my most special film so it feels like home working with Cine1 and T-Series again. Kartik and I are working together for the first time, can’t wait to begin this journey so we can bring the film to you soon!''
