Sanjay Leela Bhansali is all set for his next directorial venture. The filmmaker that promises his audience cinema in larger than life sets, this time has decided to give Ranveer Singh a miss and instead has roped in Salman Khan for his next.
Sanjay has produced back to back superhit movies with Ranveer and Deepika Padukone in Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmavaat.
As per the sources of online news portal DNA, "Sanjay, who is penning the script, has narrated the idea to Salman and he is on board. Though the film isn’t a sequel or a remake, it may be called Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam 2. SLB feels that the movie has all the elements that Hum Dil... had. So, the title feels like a natural fit for part two. However, it will have a different story and new characters. An A-list heroine will be cast opposite Salman, but the makers haven’t approached anyone as yet".
Salman Khan is reuniting with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after 12 long years. His last movie with the director was Saawari, that marked the debut of Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor. The same source further adds, "Salman starts Dabangg 3 in the last week of March. Once he finishes the third instalment of the cop franchise, he will begin work on this project. The movie is being readied for a 2020 release".
Priyanka Chopra who recently in Koffee With Karan revealed that she is in talks with the Padmaavat director and it makes us wonder if it is PeeCee who will star opposite Salman.
