Sonakshi Sinha has created a buzz with her sultry avatar in her upcoming release Ittefaq opposite Sidharth Malhotra. The movie happens to be remake of Rajesh Khanna starrer 1969 release Ittefaq.
While the Dabangg actress is quite elated to be a part of the movie, Sonakshi has revealed that it was his father Shatrughan Sinha who was first offered to play the lead in the Yash Chopra directorial.
"My dad was supposed to do the original Ittefaq and I am there in the remake version, so its a big thing for me. I think life has come full circle to me," Sonakshi was quoted as saying.
Talking about the new version of Ittefaq, the diva stated that the movie has finally given her a chance to shed off her quintessential good girl image.
"I am upset that I have been the quintessential good girl of Hindi cinema... There are two sides to me and that is what attracted me to do the film."
The soon-to-be-released film "Ittefaq" is directed by Abhay Chopra and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Dharma Productions and BR Studios.
Besides Sonakshi and Sidharth Malhotra, the movie also features Akshaye Khanna in key role and is set to release on November 3 release.
