Bollywood director Kundan Shah passed away on Saturday morning at the age of 69 following a massive cardiac arrest.
Born in the year India got freedom, Kundan Shah was famous for his films like "Dil Hai Tumhara" (2002), "Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro" (1983).
Shah has also written scripts and directed TV series. His famous TV series were Nukkad (1986), Wagle Ki Duniya (1988) and Persai Kehte Hain(2006).
Kundan Shah last directed “P Se PM Tak†in 2014. He was the writer of the film as well.

Shah studied film direction at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune. He had a keen interest in the comedy genre.
Shah’s directorial debut ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron’, a comedy genre film won him National Film Award, Indira Gandhi Award for Best First Film of a Director.
