After facing a severe backlash from veteran actor Rishi Kapoor for the failure of his last release 'Jagga Jasoos', filmmaker Anurag Basu has opened up on the rant and said that he'll try not to disappoint anyone with his next project.
Anurag's directorial 'Jagga Jasoos' starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in the lead role got tanked at the box office. Soon, Rishi Kapoor lashed out at Basu and stated that it was the director's irresponsible approach for the movie which led to its failure.
In a public interview, Rishi was called Anurag an irresponsible director and mentioned that 'everything is not just about creativity'.
Interestingly, Ranbir too, in one of his previous interviews, has stated that Anurag isn't much of a professional in his filmmaking style.

While everyone has been waiting for Basu to open up on the movie's failure, Anurag finally took it to micro-blogging site and said the rejection will pave the way for his next.
He wrote, "Sorry, I was out of radar. Thank you so much for your love and appreciation for #JaggaJassos. It's like oxygen for me right now. Tight Hugs!
Anurag further added, "And for those who disliked it, hugs for them too, because your rejection paves the way for my next and I promise i'll try not to disappoint you."

Although, the director hasn't mentioned anyone's name, it is clearly indicated that his tweet was directed to Rishi Kapoor.
Notably, 'Jagga Jasoos' was Anurag and Ranbir's second collaboration after their superhit movie 'Barfi' which had won several accolades.
With all the rant and controversy going on around 'Jagga Jasoos', we wonder if actor-director duo will ever collaborate for other project.
