Film producer Boney Kapoor is celebrating his 64th birthday and on this special occasion Janhvi Kapoor took to Instagram to wish his father with a heartfelt note. The actress shared a couple of pictures of the filmmaker with his family. She wrote an emotional note which read, ''Happy Birthday Papa. You always ask me where I get my energy from papa and I get it from you. Seeing you wake up and doing what you love with more passion every single day, seeing you fall but get up even stronger, seeing you broken but giving us and everyone else strength when they need it.''
''You’re the best man I’ll ever know. You inspire me, encourage me, you’ve always been the best dad but now you’re my best friend. I love you. I’m going to make you so proud. You deserve all the happiness in the world and I hope and pray this year is full of just that in abundance for you, she added.
Boney Kapoor has four children from two marriages. From his first wife Mona Shourie Kapoor, he has one son Arjun Kapoor and one daughter Anshula Kapoor. After divorcing Mona in 1996, Boney married actress Sridevi and became proud father of Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.
On the work front, Janhvi has wrapped up shooting of The Kargil Girl, a biopic of IAF pilot Gunjan Saxena. Angad Bedi will be seen as Gunjan's brother Anshuman Saxena, while Pankaj Tripathi will play their father. Kargil Girl is being helmed by debutant director Sharan Sharma and is being produced by Dharma Productions.
The actress will be also seen in Takht where she will be a part of an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor. She will also be seen starring alongside Kartik Aaryan in Dostana 2. Not just this, Janhvi has also collaborated with her father for the first time for a coming-of-age story about a rebellious teenager titled, Bombay Girl.
