Varun Dhawan starrer ‘Judwaa 2’ which is a remake of 1997 superhit film ‘Judwaa 2’ is running successfully in the cinemas. The movie has reportedly crossed Rs. 50 crore mark on its first weekend.
The film opened big at the box-office to Rs 16.10 crores on Friday and around Rs. 20.55 crores on the second day and approx. Rs 22.60 crores on Sunday as well taking the total to Rs. 59.25 crore.

‘Judwaa 2’ is a story of two identical twins namely, Raja and Prem who were separated at birth and are biologically linked with each other which lead to a series of hilarious events. The movie also has a guest appearance of original ‘Judwaa’ Salman Khan.
The audience critics Is not much impressed with the film whereas the audience are loving the movie very much. Moreover, the advance booking of the flick was opened a week before its release and the response was quite good.
Directed by David Dhawan, ‘Judwaa 2’ also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu in key roles.
Released during the festive season of Durga Puja and Dussehra, ‘Judwaa 2’ is encashing the box-office as no other movie have been released this Friday.
Songs like ‘Oonchi Hai Building’, ‘Tan Tana Tan’ have been revivied in the remake, making it nostalgic for the audience.
The year 2017 has not been good for Bollywood, as not many films have performed well at the box-office. However, it will be interesting to see whether ‘Judwaa 2’ manages to enter Rs. 100 crore club and become 9th film of the year to do so.
