Juhi Chawla, who turned 52 on November 13 and shared her 18 year old daughter Jahnavi Mehta’s Bollywood aspirations on the occasion of Children’s Day.
The actress who was present to celebrate the special skills of differently abled kids recently revealed how in an exclusive conversation with News Nations that she has asked her children to pick whatever career they want and there’s no pressure to be a part of Bollywood from her side. Talking about Jahnavi, the actress revealed how she picked up film studies as one of her subjects in her undergraduate course and is finding much interest with all the practical lessons the classes deliver.
The actress also asked other parents to let their children be the way they are “ Putting your dream and aspirations on your kid is not fair. Let the children blossom and let them do what they want” added the actress.
A few months back Juhi shared the news of her daughter graduating from school. She shared a picture of her on Instagram along with an emotional message. Sharing a picture of her sitting in a classroom along with other students, all in school uniform, Juhi wrote, “Jahnavi at her school farewell chapel ... happy and sad both at the same time ...” Jahnavi can be seen seated in the fourth row from front and smiling for the camera.

Meanwhile, talking about her upcoming movies, Juhi revealed she will be next seen with rishi Kapoor aka Chintuji after two decades for a yet-to-be- titled family comedy, directed by newcomer Hitesh Bhatia.
Juhi also recalled her schooldays. “I wanted to go to art school but my paintings were not so good. Until class 5th and 6th, I was a dumb student. Later, I worked hard and improved. Every evening, we used to play. My parents had to haul me to home. I also used to kid teachers,” she recalled.
Juhi is married to businessman Jay Mehta and has two kids. Apart from Jahnavi, they also have a 15-year-old son named Arjun.
