Shahid Kapoor is riding high on his success, thanks to Kabir Singh and its record breaking spree. The actor with his angry lover role attracted much appreciation and criticism. Although critics were divided on the plotline and characterization of the movie, all united to agree that the film was one of the best performances of the actor so far.

And now as Box Office is repeaing results, Shahid has taken the opportunity to hike his fees to come in the league of highest paid actors.
As per Mumbai Mirror, Shahid might be charging Rs 35 Crore for a film after the success of Kabir Singh.  While it hasn’t been confirmed by the actor, the Mumbai Mirror report stated that Shahid might be commanding this fee for all his future projects. 

Earlier the cast and crew of the film celebrated the success of the film and Shahid thanked his fans with a heartfelt post that said, "He is flawed. So are we all. You didn’t judge him you experienced him. You understood him. I have never ever felt so thankful.”

Meanwhile, Kabir Singh is just a step behind hitting the Rs 250 crore mark. The movie has already become the highest grosser this year and the 10 most successful bollywood movie on box office pushing URI: The Surgical strike to number 11th slot. The movie is also the highest grossing solo film of Shahid Kapoor’s career. On the day of its release, the film raked in a staggering Rs. 22.71 crore.
