Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is not only known for her strong acting but also for her honest nature. The Queen star slammed all the people who were trolling Dangal actress after she alleged molestation on a flight.
Kangana said that people should stop passing any sort of judgement on the 17-year-old actor.
For the uninitiated, the teen actress had alleged molestation at the hands of a fellow passenger on a Delhi-Mumbai flight on Saturday night. She took to Instagram to narrate her ordeal and shared a live video of her experience.
The Secret Superstar actress was trolled by people who criticised her for not reacting strongly in the flight itself. Some trolls even termed her act as a mere publicity stunt.
Kangana while speaking at the launch of renowned author Shobha De’s new book,’’ 70 and to hell with it’ on Wednesday applauded the actress for sharing her story.
The ‘Simran’ star condemned the criticism and said,’’ "The actor, who has spoken about this harassment that she faced in a flight, look at the backlash she is getting. It is so upsetting’’.
The National Film Award winner questioned the trolling and said, "Now, I am not in that position so, I don't know what kind of harassment it was. But everyone agrees on one thing that the foot was on her arm-rest. This is wrong. It is very wrong. Why are we judging her, trolling her? In this kind of environment, which is so frightening, who will speak up?"
The Tanu Weds Manu star said that if she were in the teen actress place she would have broken the accused leg.
On the work front, Kangana is busy with the shooting of her upcoming film ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’.
