Zaira Wasim’s decision to quit acting has come as a surprise for her fans as well as the entire film fraternity. The 18-year-old decided to bid adieu to Bollywood because she was not happy with the line of work as it interfered with her faith and religion.
Recently during the song launch of her upcoming film Judgementall Hai Kya, when actress Kangana Ranaut was asked about her thoughts on Zaira’s exit from Bollywood, she said, ''It should make you fulfill your life and if you think your life is already fulfilled, there's plenty of work around you. Try and help your family and friends. Kaveri is drying up... The essential fundamental requirement of any religion is to empower you, not disempower you.''
Zaira, who shot to fame as Aamir Khan's daughter in Dangal five years ago, was also lauded for her role in her second film Secret Superstar. In a long post shared on her social media accounts, Zaira wrote, "I started to become the prime candidate of public attention, I was projected as the gospel of the idea of success and was often identified as a role model for the youth. However, that's never something that I set out to do or become, especially with regards to my ideas of success and failure, which I had just started to explore and understand."

Zaira went on to confess that she was not happy with the lien of work. "For a very long time now, it has felt like I have struggled to become someone else. As I had just started to explore and make sense of the things to which I dedicated my time, efforts and emotions and tried to grab hold of a new lifestyle, it was only for me to realise that though I may fit here perfectly, I do not belong here,’’ she added.
Meanwhile, the makers of Judgementall Hai Kya recently released the film’s song Wakhra swag. The song is the remake of Badshah song. It a sung by Nav Inder.
