After dissolution of grand alliance in Bihar, RJD leader Maheshwar Yadav on Thursday said that most of the MLAs in party were of the opinion that Tejashwi Yadav should resign so that alliance and government remain saved.

Maheshwar said that Nitish is having a habit that he avoid keeping tainted person in the alliance and that was the main reason behind falling down of alliance.

“Lalu Yadav has lost the alliance because of affection for his sons. Lalu doesn’t listen to anyone. Everyone knows about Nitish Kumar but Lalu didn’t,” said Maheshwar.

Earlier in the day, Janata Dal (United) president Nitish Kumar took oath as chief minister of the state after joining hands with BJP to reclaim the government.

On Thursday, Kumar had resigned as chief minister and pulled out from the Grand Alliance, alleging his partner RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and his son former Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav for not explain in media over alleged corruption charges in land-for-hotels case.
