When Kangana Ranaut says she is the reigning Queen of Bollywood and can take on any actor filmmaker, she means it.Â
After challenging Hrithik Roshan by attempting to release her upcoming movie Judgementall Hai Kya with Super 30 she has done it again, this time she is directly taking on Karan Johar.Â
Kangana's hostility with Karan Johar dates back to the times when the former accused the latter of spreading nepotism in Bollywood. Recently Rangoli Chandel, sister and manager to Kangana slammed Varun Dhawan for not mentioning Kangana’s name individually when he was praising the Jugemental Hai Kya trailer.Â
And now Kangana’s new film Dhakkad has been announced in which an one of its kind action flick with a female in its lead, something that will usher a new age into Indian cinema.Â

Interestingly, the release date of Dhaakad as seen in its first poster featuring Kangana is the same day when the Karan Johar produced Varun Dhawan film Rannbhoomi has been slated for release Diwali 2020.Â
“Kangana has a quaint way to taking on her oppressors or people she does not get along with. Put your film in front of them and let the box office do the talking. After flops like Kalank and a below average Student of The year 2, Karan is a bit worried and it’s time for. Kangana to strike back,†says an industry source to Deccan Chronicle.
The film will be directed by Razneesh Ghai, which will be jointly produced by Sohel Maklai Productions and Asylum Films and co-produced by Qyuki Digital Media. Rannbhoomi on the other hand will helmed by filmmaker Shashank Khaitan.
