In a shocking turn of events, Kannada television actors Rachana and Jeevan passed away in a tragic road accident. According to the media reports, the accident took place in the early hours of Thursday near Magadi, Karnatka.
Reportedly, Jeevan and Rachana were heading to Kukke Subramanya Temple when their car rammed into a parked truck killing both the actors. They were going to celebrate actor Karthik's birthday there.
The reports also suggest that the deceased actors were accompanied by Ranjith, Eric, Honnesh and Utthamm at the time of the accident who managed to escape the fatal accident with minor injuries.

Magadi police have registered the case and is investigating the matter further.
Notably, Rachana and Jeevan are known face in Kannada television industry. They are popular for their role in Mahanadi.
Interestingly, its been a couple of days when Television actors Gagan Kang and Arijit Lavani too died in a road accident on Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway. Both the actors, who were seen in Colors 'Mahakali: Anth Hi Aarambh Hai' were on their way to Mumbai from Umergaon when the accident took place.
