'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' completes one year: Karan Johar says film will remain extremely special to his heart

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was one of the most awaited movies to hit the silver screens during Diwali last year. The movie which faced a lot of trouble during its release has completed one year today. 

The Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai, Anushka Sharma starrer was released on October 28 last year during the Diwali weekend. 

The Karan Johar directorial was appreciated by both the critics and audience for its storyline. The movie focused on the story of Ayan (played by Ranbir) who is madly in love with Alizeh (played by Anushka). 

Ayan continued to love Alizeh even after she married Ali (played by Fawad Khan). The portrayal of the unrequited love story managed to strike a chord with the audience. 

Karan Johar took to Twitter to express how special the film has been to him.
