New Delhi:

After working together in the blockbuster Simmba, it looks like filmmaker Karan Johar is also infected with Ranveer Singh’s ‘Joie de vivre’. It has always been an untold truth that our very own Gully Boy is the life of the party in the B-town. Hence, it doesn’t come much a surprise that the filmmaker and witty-talker is finally upfront about the goofiness Ranveer Singh always has been.

Talking to India Today, Johar was all in praise for the Simmba actor and went on chitchatting about his admiration and love for the versatile actor. Johar stated, "He is very flamboyant and that's something that he shows to the public. He is always this person, he is originally very flamboyant. He is my hero. Ranveer's energy enhances his stardom. Other actors like Ranbir Singh, Varun Dhawan don't have that much energy but they are unique in their own way. They are amazing actors and are really good on screen."

Now that is a huge leap of praise for the Gully Boy actor whom he had also previously worked together in Rohit Shetty’s Simmba along with Kedarnath, Sara Ali Khan.

While we are seeing a bond of relationship ripening for Karan and Ranveer, they will also be seen together in the period drama, Takht along with other Bollywood A-listers like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt Vicky Kaushal among others.

Ranveer Singh in the meanwhile after his Rs 200 crore success is all pumped up for the upcoming musical film, Gully Boy along with Alia Bhatt.

Gully Boy hit the big screens this Valentine's 2019.
