Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor, the star kids who made their Bollywood debut almost at the same time, and while the glamour industry has opened its arms wide with warm affection for both the actors, fans cannot stop gushing comparisons between the two. Janhvi came to limelight with her debut Dhadak under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions banner. Sara will soon be seen on the big screen opposite Ranveer Singh in Simmba, also produced by Karan. At the trailer launch of Simmba on Monday, Karan was hence asked who according to him will be winning the debut award – Sara or Janhvi.

Replying to the question, the filmmaker stated that it is very unfair to compare both the actors as they are doing well in their own spectrums. “I think it's not fair to compare both the girls. Awards don't matter but the work they do is what matters," Karan said.
KJo’s answer is quite acceptable as both the actors have blown the industry with their charm and already garnered many appreciations. Sara will step into the show-biz industry with Kedarnath, co-starring Sushant Rajput. During the trailer launch of Kedarnath, the diva was asked to choose among her two upcoming films, Simmba and Kedarnath, and which film she would have wanted to be her debut film.
On this, she had said, "Both are such different films and such different experiences, how can you ask me such a question? Dono ne mujhe chuna uske liye mein buhut hee grateful ho, (I am just grateful that they chose me)."

The period drama also features Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal and veteran actor Anil Kapoor. From the epic battle for the majestic Mughal throne to the story of family, ambitions, greed, betrayal, love and succession, Takht revolves around an incredible story embedded in history. The project, slated to release in 2020, is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta.
