Karan Johar’s Student of The Year 2 sinks at box office, Monday collections show MASSIVE DROP

Student of The Year 2, the sequel of highly successful movie with the same name, failed to live up to the expectations. Directed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar, the SOTY 2 witnessed massive drop at the box office on Monday.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie declined 54.23% on Monday in comparison with Friday’s performance. So far, the movie has been able to garner just Rs 44.5 crore since its release on May 10.

Directed by Punit Malhotra, SOTY 2 revolves around the lives of the students in the prestigious Saint Teresa's College including Rohan (Tiger Shroff), Shreya (Ananya Panday) and Mia (Tara Sutaria) and have so far emerged as Tiger Shroff's second highest opener since his 2018 film Baaghi 2 which opened up at Rs 25.1 crore.
