Kareena Kapoor Khan's chat show has received international recognition. 'What Women Want', a show that shares the stories of influential women from Bollywood actresses to social media celebs of how they faced challenges in their path to progress has been nominated at the New York Festival Radio Awards.
Bebo has been nominated in the category of Best Talk Show Host. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, the actress was asked about her reaction to the international recognition that she and her show are getting. Here’s what the actress said: "It feels really great to receive this nomination and I'm glad the show received the response it did. I think the reason it did well was because it brought to the fore women from different walks of life, who weren't defined by labels, who broke stereotypes and norms."
Kareena's debut radio show saw several of her friends and colleagues from Bollywood including the likes of her BFFs Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora, designer Manish Malhotra, sister-in-law Soha Ali Khan, her sister Karisma Kapoor, actress Sunny Leone and several other big names from the industry gracing the guests' couch.
Kareena discussed with her guests, several aspects of a woman’s life, managing motherhood with a job, women getting trolled for all the wrong reasons and finding an identity in a patriarchal society and more.
On movie front, Kareena will be next seen in Raj Mehta's 'Good News' co-starring Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. The actress will also be a part of a dance reality show as its judge, the shooting for which will start in some time.
