After a casual dance at the airport started the Dheeme challenge, Kartik Aaryan wants to takes his new found friendship with Deepika Padukone to another level. Sharing a debut picture of him from ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya look’ clutched with Deepika’s iconic, 70's look from ‘Om Shanti Om’, the candy-eyed star wrote on his Instagram story, “Hai kisi Director mein dum?’’. His story of course did not go unnoticed by Deepika, who reshared the story. She however, was more worried about the picture as she teased, “why these pictures though!?!?”
Over Christmas, Deepika and Aaryan have a started strong bond much to the entertainment of millions of fans. During an interview with a leading daily, Deepika also spoke about how she finds Aaryan endearing and hardworking.
“I saw him on Instagram or something and I’m like ‘wow he’s really endearing’ and I kept watching and I kept watching. And I started observing him and something about him I find so endearing, I find him extremely hardworking. He is not apologetic about the fact… and this is all my understanding.
Admitting that she and Aaryan are still new to each other, she adds that she has gone on to love him just in this few time pf knowing him,
‘’I have not met him too many times, so I don’t know as an outsider my understanding is that he’s extremely focused, he’s extremely driven. And he is not apologetic about it. He will do whatever it takes to be successful. He will do whatever it takes to be at the top, honest and he is not apologetic about it. And I love that about him. That’s how I started following him and seeing his work. Then I saw the Dheeme Dheeme challenge, and I said ‘what is this step?’ I kept watching it and I kept watching it. And to save my life I was not able to do that step. Of course I tried it at home and then I messaged him can you teach me the step’ she added.
On the work front, while Deepika will be seen in Chhapaak, while Kartik Aaryan is shooting for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Dostana 2.
