Kartik Aaryan, who is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Pati Patni Aur Woh with co-star Ananya Panday in Lucknow, scolded her for not drinking tea at the local stall they visited together. In a video which is making rounds of the internet, it looks like Kartik is screaming on Ananya, stating, "Arre allergic to tea toh yahan aai kyu hai? (Why are you here if you are allergic to tea)."
She pouts in response. He tells her to leave and she meekly says, ''So mean.'' Ananya reposted the video on her Instagram and wrote, ''Allergic to tea but enjoying Sharma Ji ki chai.''
On Friday, Kartik shared another picture of himself enjoying mouth-watering parathas and chhole while sitting in an auto-rickshaw. Kartik captioned the image, ''Chintu Tyagi on a diet!! Enjoying Lucknow ka laajawaab khana #PatiPatniAurWoh@”.
Kartik's Pati Patni Aur Woh is being directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Juno Chopra. The film is the remake of hit 1978 movie Pati Patni Aur Woh and also stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role. "Kartik, Bhumi and Ananya are new age actors who are talented and add their spark to the story. We have worked with Kartik in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and we are glad that we are working again. Bhumi has proven what a fantastic actor she is while Ananya is new, but audiences will fall in love with her. The film will so have great music," T-Series' Bhushan Kumar had said in a statement.
Other than Pati Patni Aur Woh, the 28-year-old actor will be seen alongside his rumoured girlfriend Sara Ali Khan in Imtiaz Ali’s romantic drama slated to release in February next year. He will also be seen in Anees Baazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, a sequel to Priyadarshan’s 2007 blockbuster Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
