Kartik Aryan starrer ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ is one of the most awaited movies of the year. Fans are eagerly waiting to see their favourite ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ gang back on the silver screen.
The rom-com which also features Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh in lead roles was slated to hit the screens on February 9. However, the makers of the film have decided to postpone the release by two weeks.
The comedy flick will now release on February 23, thereby avoiding a clash with Akshay Kumar’s PadMan and Sidharth Malhotra starrer Aiyaary. Considering that three big films releasing on the same day would eat up the business, the makers changed the release date of ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’.
Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh who keeps the movie lovers updated with all the happenings in B-town shared the news on Twitter.
#SonuKeTituKiSweety, which was slated for release on 9 Feb 2018, has been shifted to 23 Feb 2018... Stars Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh... Luv Ranjan directs.

You never know when things change in Bollywood. Ever since Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced that ‘Padmaavat’ will hit the screens on January 25, the Bollywood calendar was affected.
The makers of Aiyaary in order to avoid a clash with PadMan and Padmaavat changed the release date to February 9. Akshay Kumar on Friday also announced that his social drama ‘PadMan’ will be pushed by two weeks.
With ‘PadMan’ moving out of competition, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Padmaavat’ will be the solo release during the Republic Day weekend.
All said and done, we believe movie lovers are in for a treat as four blockbuster movies are releasing back to back.Â
