Katrina Kaif may not promote Jagga Jasoos with Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif, top actors of Bollywood and ex-flames have reunited for Anurag Basu’s comedy-drama film ‘Jagga Jasoos’. 

However, speculations have consistently arose whether or not Katrina Kaif will promote the film along with Ranbir Kapoor. Whereas Katrina had expressed doubts regarding the same, Ranbir had assured the media that she will definitely be a part of the promotions.

Afterwards, the two were witnessed in various promotional events and it seemed that all differences between them were buried. Howsoever, everything doesn’t seem to be ‘hunky dory’ between the former lovers.

Reports have claimed that during the launch of one of the songs of the film, Ranbir had joked that he was responsible for Katrina’s brilliant moves in songs such as Mashallah, Kamli, Chikni Chameli and Sheila Ki Jawani.

Whereas a lot of people were in splits following the comment, Katrina didn’t seem very amused by it.

She threatened to leave promotions midway and even issued an ultimatum that until Ranbir stopped pulling her leg, she will restrain from promoting the film with him. Sources said that only after Ranbir relented, the two came together for promotions and have gone about their job in a professional manner.

When Ranbir was asked about the same, the actor called it a prank and added, "We were at a Facebook chat and I cracked a joke on her and she cracked it back at me. What's being said is not true. We have an amazing creative partnership. I love working with her."

While Ranbir maintains that he would love to work with Katrina again, Katrina during a recent interaction said that she and Ranbir will never star together in a film again.

As per sources, Katrina’s former boyfriend and Bollywood’s Dabanng Salman Khan had advised her to promote the film with Ranbir, otherwise it would send out the wrong signals. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in lead and directed by Anurag Basu, 'Jagga Jasoos' is slated to release on July 14.
