‘Teri Ore’ couple Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif is reuniting for Rohit Shetty directorial Sooryavanshi and heighten excitement among the actress recently shared a picture of her with her ‘friend’, ‘the best crew’ to share her experience about working with the same.
Sharing a photo from the film set with her co-star Akshay and director Rohit, Kat wrote "A perfect start to the year ....friends , laughs , smiles , onset ....... the best crew entire team , everyday on set has been full of so much love and joy , just how films should be made .... see u in cinemas March 27 th #sooryavanshi @itsrohitshetty @akshaykumar

Sooryavanshi marks Katrina’s first film with Rohit Shetty. She had shared a pic with the filmmaker in November last year, captioning it as " #Sooryavanshi Diaries with @itsrohitshetty and @kaybykatrina #itskaytobeyou".
Early reports by Pinkvilla suggested that Akshay was hellbent on casting Katrina for the female lead contrary to Rohit Shetty's choices but seems like now they have mended their differences. Akshay has worked with Katrina earlier in movies like Tees Mar Khan, Singh is King, Namste London. Rohit appeared in Neha Dhupia's show where he revealed that Katrina will be seen essaying the role of a doctor.

Akshay and Katrina has also recreated iconic 90s number ‘Tip-tip barsa paani’ choreographed by Farah Khan that will be a major attraction in the movie.

Sooryavanshi is the fourth film of Shetty’s cop universe and has cameo appearances by Ranveer Singh (Simmba) and Ajay Devgn (Singham).
