Our Bollywood celebs have always managed to grab the limelight for their great acting skills, aesthetic fashion choices, their love affairs and personal style statements. They are role model for their fans who follow their footsteps and try to express their love and affection in one way or the other. But sometimes, this love takes a rather serious bend and turns into obsession for many fans. We have listed some actors whose die-hard fans turned into creepy stalkers.
Priyanka Chopra:
In 2014, when Priyanka Chopra was busy shooting in Barcelona, a 25-year-old guy was found snooping around her building. His highly suspicious behaviour compelled the security guards to call the police. Later it was discovered that he carried a bag full of sweets, bangles, and flowers for the actress.
Katrina Kaif:
In 2009, Katrina Kaif was stalked for almost a year by a crazy fan. Once he even told Katrina's staff that the actress has invited him to her residence. "He was the same guy who had come to my house. He keeps following me and reached the multiplex this time. The police warned him to stay away, but he doesn't understand. I don't know what he wants. It's terribly disturbing," Katrina said, according to The Times of India.
Shahid Kapoor:
The chocolate boy of Bollywood industry, Shahid Kapoor was once stalked by Vastavikta Pandit, the daughter of legendary actor Rajkumar. Vastavikta scaled the wall of Shahid’s house and even claimed to be his wife. This kept on going for nine months and later Shahid filed a police complaint against her.
Hrithik Roshan:
The Greek God of Bollywood was stalked by a Russian fan, identified as Anna. In 2013, she stalked him and lured him around his residence. She even tried to get into his office. When she was refused an entry by the security guards, Anna turned aggressive. That's when Hrithik had to lodge a police complaint.
Akshay Kumar:
A girl stalked Akshay for a year. She’d run away from home in Lucknow to meet Akki. But she failed to meet him every time and in 2009, she slashed her wrists outside the actor's Juhu home. The actor, who happened to be home at that time, rushed out immediately. Seeing the girl's physical and emotional trauma, he took her to a hospital.
