KL Rahul's personal life has been the talk of the town for quite some time now. Speculations are rife that the cricketer is dating Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty and the latest picture of the two has added fuel to the reports.
On Saturday, Rahul took to Instagram to share the picture, which shows the two inside a phone booth. Rahul is holding an old-school receiver, while Athiya can be seen laughing next to him. He captioned the photo with a famous dialogue from the film, Heri Pheri: ''Hello, devi prasad....?''
Athiya’s dad Suniel Shetty was instantly amused as he posted the laughing emojis in the comments.
In November, Athiya received a birthday wish from Rahul. ''Happy birthday @athiyashetty,'' Rahul wrote alongside a picture. He even posted a monkey emoji with it. Reacting to the photo, Athiya shared multiple black hearts for him.
KL Rahul addressed his relationship status in an interview to with Bombay Times. "Oh, all these things have been written about? I don’t really read the papers, so I don’t know what has been written about me. I have learned to keep my personal life personal and not make it a thing to talk about. I am committed to cricket right now," he said. He was also asked if he was single or not, to which he responded saying, "I don’t really know. When I figure that out, I will give you a call and tell you."
Interestingly, KL Rahul was earlier linked to Alia Bhatt's best friend, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor. Rahul has also been linked to Niddhi Agerwal, who rubbished the reports and said that he was just a good friend.
On the work front, Athiya was last seen in the film Motichoor Chaknachoor, opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
