Bollywood actors Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranvir Shorey after being separated for more than five years has filed for a divorce with mutual consent. The estranged couple has done all the legal formalities seeking the divorce and the decree is expected to being granted in the next six months.
Despite parting ways, Ranvir and Konkona continue to be cordial with each other and the couple will share custody of their eight-year-old son Haroon, said a report by SpotboyE. The couple has been going through counselling session to patch things up since they separated five years back but now have decided to split under amicable terms.
Ranvir and Konkona, who got married in 2010 after dating for three years. Konkona announced their separation on Twitter in September 2015. “Ranvir and I have mutually decided to separate, but continue to be friends and co-parent our son. Will appreciate your support. Thank you,” she wrote.
Ranvir and Konkona worked together in films like Traffic Signal, Aaaja Nachle, Fashion. Ranvir was also a part of Konkona’s directorial debut ‘A Death In The Gunj’ that gather many Filmfare awards. It is also reported that Ranvir, in 2015, had taken the blame for the split on himself.

The actress has always been tight-lipped about her personal life . In an earlier interview after her seperation Konkona said want her personal life to become a topic of gossip as she has faced many speculative writing about her marraige that she didnot enjoy.
On work front, while Ranvir will be seen in Irrfan khan -Radhika Madan starrer Angrezi Medium. Konkona will be next seen in Alankrita Shrivastava directed Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare, alongside Bhumi Pednekar.
