Kriti Kharbanda is currently basking in the success of her latest release, Housefull 4. The film is doing wonders at the box office and has entered the Rs 200 crore club. The actress is also busy promoting her upcoming film, Paagalpanti. After 'Pagalpanti', she was supposed to start filming for Amitabh Bahchan and Emraan Hashmi’s Chehre. However, as per the latest reports, the actress is no more part of the film.
A report in Pinkvilla suggests Kriti was asked to exit the project due to her starry tantrums. The report further stated that the makers were trying to make changes according to her demands, however, in the end, it didn't work out. There was a mismanagement of dates too by Kriti Kharbanda's team that led to her exit from the film.
A source has revealed to the portal, "Kriti's tantrums and her team's mismanagement of time and dates were becoming a regular nuisance at work. They were trying to adjust to her demands but had to finally give in." Now, the actress is no more part of the film and the makers are hunting for a replacement. The actress was a part of the first schedule of the film. However, now, her part will be re-shot with the new actress.
"Kriti shot her portions in the first schedule and was all set to be part of the second schedule. But the fallout happened right now and both have mutually decided to not work together on Chehre. At this point, the team is looking at an actress to replace the heroine and the new heroine will be announced soon. The scenes that were shot with Kriti now also needs to be reshot,’’ the source added.
Chehre helmed by Rumi Jafry has been slated for April 2020 release.
