Lara Dutta uses husband Mahesh Bhupathi's Grand Slam towels to prevent rain water entering house

Heavy rains on Tuesday brought Mumbai to stand still affecting people’s lives and day to day work. Actor Lara Datta posted a photo on Twitter which showed how she prevented the rain water from entering her house.

The model turned actress used her husband and tennis star Mahesh Bhupathi's towels from major grand slam tournaments. She rolled them against glass doors to block water, the act left her hubby unamused.

It is a deluge like situation yet again in Mumbai as non-stop rain has completely thrown life out of gear in the metropolis. According to the met department, about four inches of rain has been recorded in just a few hours and heavy rain is forecast for the next 48 hours.
