Laxmmi Bomb First Look: Akshay Kumar Clad In Red Saree Will Surely Give You Chills

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar today took to his Instagram to share the first look from his forthcoming film, Laxmmi Bomb. Khiladi Kumar is playing a transgender in the Raghava Lawrence film.

Sharing a picture of himself as Laxmmi, Akshay wrote, "Navratri is about bowing to the inner goddess and celebrating your limitless strength. On this auspicious occasion, I am sharing with you my look as Laxmmi. A character I am both excited and nervous about... but then life begins at the end of our comfort zone... isn’t it? #LaxmmiBomb (sic)."

In the photo, he is seen donning a red saree with black blouse. Akshay is wearing red bangles in the picture.

The movie is the official Hindi remake of Tamil horror comedy film titled Muni 2: Kanchana which starred and was directed by Raghava Lawrence. The film also stars Liara Advani in the lead role. There is much speculation that Amitabh Bachchan might also appear as a transgender ghost in the film.

In May, Akshay shared a glimpse of his character. He wrote, "Bringing you one bomb of a story, Laxmmi Bomb starring @kiaraaliaadvani & yours truly! Bursting in cinemas on 5th June, 2020."

The film’s plot revolves around a man who is afraid of all things supernatural, but through a twist of fate, he is forced to confront his fear as his body gets possessed by the spirit of a transgender called Laxmmi.

Laxmmi Bomb is produced by Cape of Good Films, Fox Star Studios, Tusshar Kapoor and Shabina Khan. The film also stars R Madhvan and Shobita Dhulipala in pivotal roles. It will hit the screens on May 22, 2020.
